HelpOH case study

THE GAP

HelpOH connects people with vetted professionals for household services while giving workers legal protection, training and steady income. Built for Malaysia's growing economy.

TWO SIDES OF ONE MARKET

Users struggle to find reliable, affordable help; workers face inconsistent pay and little legal protection. I mapped Farah, a busy professional, and Arif, a skilled tradesman, to serve both sides equitably.

THE DECISION

Booking flows built for transparency and speed, borrowing trust signals from Grab that the Southeast Asian market already reads.

THE WHOLE FLOW, ONE SURFACE

Green and white to feel trustworthy and familiar, with the whole booking flow — service, location, date, time — kept on a single surface.

WHAT SHIPPED

A desktop platform with fast search-and-book, transparent pricing and clear service categories. Clarity over density.

WHAT STUCK

Designing for two very different users at once was the real exercise. Next I'd build the worker dashboard properly, with job management and training.
